Concept

Today, businesses related to space are expanding around the world.

Space is not only a new industry, but also has unlimited potential to solve various issues on Earth.

X-NIHONBASHI (pronounced “cross nihonbashi”) is a project that aims to expand the space business
and create new innovations together with a wide range of players.

Various players involved in the space business gather and interact,
including the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and academic organizations.

New cooperation will grow from here.

The two hubs,
X-NIHONBASHI TOWER and X-NIHONBASHI BASE, offer various facilities.They can be used in various scenes to expand the space business.

Use as a Business Hub

A variety of meeting rooms and a bar lounge are available as a business hub for 4 to 20 people.

Use as Co-working Spaces

We have co-working spaces with a total of more than 70 chairs in two locations.

Use as a Conference Space and Event Space

There is a large multipurpose space for seminars, lectures, and online events. It also can be used for gallery exhibitions.

Use as a Third Place for the Space Business

The studio is fully equipped with cameras, microphones, switchers, mixers, and other equipment that can be used for filming and streaming.

Use as a Filming and Streaming Studio

The studio is fully equipped with cameras, microphones, switchers, mixers, and other equipment that can be used for filming and streaming.

Use as Office

Shared rooms can be used as offices. In addition to become a cross U member, a tenant agreement is required.

An Open Innovation Platform for the Space Businesscross U

It is the largest space business co-creation platform in Japan where various players gather in Nihonbashi, the center of space business. The latest “knowledge” and “information” is collected here, and open innovation in the space industry is promoted.
You are required to become a cross U member to use the facilities.

[For people who wish to use the facilities] How can I use them?: You are required to become a member of General Incorporated Association cross U, since our facilities have started using a membership system since April 2023.

[For guests attending a meeting or event] Can I enter the building where the facility is located at any time?: The opening times are as follows.

X-NIHONBASHI TOWER
・7:00 a.m. – 12:30 a.m. whole day
・Lower floor elevator bank (2nd floor) 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sundays

X-NIHONBASHI BASE
・7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, closed whole day on Saturdays and Sundays (You cannot enter without your IC card.)

* Please contact another guest or an event host about opening times other than the above.
* Please note that times may be changed due to the situation of the buildings.

Are there any parking spaces?: We do not have our own parking spaces. Please use public parking.

Are there any smoking areas?: X-NIHONBASHI does not provide smoking areas in the buildings. Please use a nearby smoking area.

Is Wi-Fi available?: Free Wi-Fi is available at both X-NIHONBASHI TOWER and X-NIHONBASHI BASE.
